Regina’s Grocery is built around family. Every sandwich is named after someone in ours, some who are no longer with us, some who still stop by, and many whose faces line the walls of the shop. Each one is made to reflect the person it’s named after, their personality, their habits, their way of doing things. Uncle John was larger than life and had everything in the world. Grandma Lucy was elegant, tasteful, and knew exactly what she liked.
Think of the menu as an introduction to our family and, in turn, who we are. We invite you to come in, take a seat, and join the family.
From us, regina,
Roman and Richard
big anthony
Big Anthony was one of the biggest personalities in the family and easily one of the funniest. Loud, warm, and impossible to ignore, he had a way of filling the room without even trying. His sandwich fits him perfectly, bold, satisfying, and made to make you smile.
uncle jimmy
Uncle Jimmy was from the old times, one of the biggest personalities in the family and impossible to miss. He carried himself with presence and confidence, but there was always a little extra spice to him compared to everyone else. Bold, unapologetic, and full of flavor, Uncle Jimmy left his mark wherever he went, and this one is named for him.
uncle phil
Grandma Lucy was Richard’s mother and truly one of a kind. She did everything her own way, from bleaching her hair in the 1950s to standing outside barbecuing in the rain with an umbrella, just to keep the house perfectly clean. Strong-willed, sharp, and unapologetically herself, she loved tuna fish more than anything, which is why this sandwich is hers. Simple, bold, and classic, just like Grandma Lucy.
cousin cristina
Cousin Cristina is who I grew up side by side with. She was always simple in the best way, but quietly sophisticated without ever trying to be. Thoughtful, balanced, and effortlessly put together, Cristina’s sandwich reflects that same understated elegance.
Roman
Roman is Regina’s only son and, in her words, “just annoying.” Growing up, he always wanted more protein and more flavor, never leaving well enough alone. That instinct turned into a sandwich built his way, sliced chicken layered with pesto, peppers, and balsamic. Lean, bold, and a little extra, just like Roman himself.
